So it's almost February and I think it's time for an update. Well things just seem to keep falling into place. One thing after another. I feel SO absolutely blessed! I've heard all the horror stories about wedding planning and watched all the bridezilla shows hahahahaha. Now not to say I'm not prepared for some bumps or that there haven't already been some but I feel that it's going very well and coming together quite nicely so far. I have a dress, it's tailored and ready to go. The lady is storing it for me, will steam it, and then I'll just pick it up a few days before the wedding. I have talked to my mom about flowers, the look of the reception and all that stuff. While some of those things aren't completely set in stone we have the ideas and know the direction we are taking and they are coming together. Ryan and I got our engagements taken on Monday and got them from our photographer last night. Oh P.S. Lauren Sampson did our photos. Some of the pictures turned out BEAUTIFULLY!
OH MY GOODNESS! And we're going on a cruise!!!!! Ryan's parents are being EXTREMELY generous and are sending us on a cruise for our honeymoon and paid for our plane tickets to Raleigh for the reception and back to Salt Lake. HUGE!!! When Ryan told me I can't lie I almost thought maybe he was just pulling my leg. I don't know if I can ever say thank you enough for their generous gift! We are SO excited!
Oh and I figure I should publicly thank my mother for all she's done so far and all she will do in the next couple of months. She's doing so much for me because I'm here in Utah in school. She is AMAZING! I love her so much! I miss her so much too!
Okay so just some funny thoughts.
I was contemplating today about the past almost four weeks as of Monday and can't believe how fast and slow they've gone. HAHAHAHA! I mean there are times that I'm think HOLY COW! It's already been four weeks!!! And the other part of me is saying.... Okay Alisa....Patience...only 90 days and 9 hours....Oh who am I kidding that is FOREVER! hahahaha. On this same topic I had lunch with my friend Sarah this week. Sarah got married this past summer so we were talking about the wedding planning and such and then I was talking to her about how long her and Matt were engaged, which was 5 weeks, and then told her my countdown and she almost laughed and was like, "Geez there never was 90 days for us" So I'm not the only one that thinks that is forever to wait marry my sweetie.
Also, I was remembering back to the first few days that we were engaged and the first couple mornings after we were engaged, especially the morning after, I would wake up and accidentally poke myself with my ring or feel it and like instantly pop awake and be like *gasp* IT WAS REAL!!!!
BEST FEELING EVER!!!!!!! :D
